Ajyrkety is an artificially constructed language created by Wyatt Hess for use in a fictional world.
Description
Ajyrkety is the native language of the Ajyrke, a race in the fictional world Karþreîa (KRÞ_HessW). Karþreîate, the main language of the world, evolved from Ajyrkety.
Uniqueness
Romanized Ajyrkety uses every letter in the Roman alphabet, with the exception of Q, I, and U (the latter two are combined with the letters Y and W, respectively), and with the addition of two auxiliary consonants, Þ and Ð, and two extra vowels, Æ (pronounced "uh") and Ø (pronounced "ih").
It uses various postpositions to distinguish parts of speech, though in casual, fluent speech, they are not technically necessary.
Language Sources
Original plans for this language (and for Karþreîate) were to use an Arabic or other Middle Eastern language source; the current plan for this language takes nothing from any existing language.
Interest of Others
Me and a few of my friends, at the present time.
