Bruceish is a fictional language. It was written by Bruce A. Brejta.
Language sources
While Bruceish has no specific inspiration (i.e., it's vocabulary and grammar are not based on any existing language), a few languages (see if you can guess) have great influence on the pronunciation. The pronunciation is something I have not worked out completely, but a basic rule would be to pronounce it as you would English, except that stress falls on the last part of the word and there are no silent letters.
Design principles
Again, Bruceish aims to minimize irregularity and seeks to create a simple yet effective way to go from root to more complex part of speech.
Interest of others
Several friends of mine have expressed interest in this and are learning the language, or at least trying to from the meager resources I have written down. Hopefully they will have more to learn from in the near future.
