Chamish, a fictional language, was developed by Nelanth Peorth-Ehwaz. The web page is in English and French. It can be written with a unique vertical alphabet.
Language sources
Arabic, Russian, Turkish and Chinese.
Design principles
Phonology and morphology have Turkish and Arabic elements; the vocabulary's taken from Arabic, Russian, Turkish and Chinese. The sentence's structure is SVO, there are three types of words with their structure: nouns (structure CV*CV or CVCV*), verbs (CV*Ca/u or CV'VCa), complementatives (CVC) and link-words ((V)CV or (V)CCV). There are also suffixes which are -CV or -VC and there's a vocalic harmonisation on it.
Interest of others
Some friends liked it and wanted to learn it. I also publish a topic about it on the Conlanger Board.
