Language sources
For the vocabulary, makes use of natural languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Spanish, and Swahili), as well as Ceqli, Dunia, Unish, Toki Pona. In some cases, uses vocabulary derived from Creoles such as Tok Pisin, Bislama, Sranan, etc.

Design principles
Based on a vision of what a "world creole" might be. Vocabulary is completely a posteriori, taken from natural languages, partly based on the Mulivo project. Grammar is influenced by Chinese, but also based on what creole- or pidgin-type languages typically do.
