Design principles

To support sustainable global peace:

    • EL protects all traditional languages and cultures from destruction, and to help raise them continuously, while helping all kinds of communications that one’s mother language can’t work for. All humans on earth are brothers and sisters; so disable people also must be able to join in the same communication system.
    • To be visually understandable and rational measurements of images or sounds, assisting children to learn their own mother language, and students to learn new another language, and every one to understand his/her own and other cultures comparing them using it.
    • Being flexible for unknown future expressions.
    • Being a good stimulation method for creative ideas and arts.

Interest of others

  • The EL Font and the overlay typing tool users are not so many yet, but users are enjoying them in various fields and countries, eg:
    • Ideograms: used by graphic design student groups to test impact of visual symbols; used for actual graphics such as a company logo }(E coast) and a music CD jacket (Belgium) or abstract arts; used for a new thinking method “mind-map” with lines, arrows and other marks (Jp).
    • Ideograms with the grammar: linguistic persons auxiliary used them for explaining the English language to their children or foreign students; new lang-makers refer to EL bases combinations.
    • Phonetics: foreign language teachers used the EL web site for teaching pronunciations; a multi-scripts maker refers to it for setting new bases sounds, saying EL is more powerful than IPA (Sw).
    • The total system: coworkers in different cultures in India are testing it to communicate with each other; poets enjoy the EL haiku, a German physicist introduced it to a UFO study group as a new tool for communicating with extraterrestrials; Tai-Chi kind of meditating excise with EL hand/body signs is enjoyed by a few people, while developing it.
    • EL was introduced in a Japanese book published by Kobun-sha (March 2005); San Francisco area international channel televised a 30 minutes program, “Earth Language” in Japanese.
