G'amah, a fictional language, was developed by Pablo Flores. It is written with a unique script.
Language sources
Semitic languages have influenced it in the phonology a bit, and more in the syntax, which is rather analytic, verb-first, with adjectives following nouns. Through my scarce hearsay knowledge of African languages G'amah got its implosive consonants, and the inspiration for its weird case system is Dyirbal, an Australian language.
Design principles
I'm trying to produce a language that is best shouted, that doesn't fit on a nice poem or a romantic song, a language of an aggresive people. Its words must be harsh, short and powerful (like the fall of a hammer on a rotten branch or on a dusty ground).
Interest of others
There are no people involved but me. The language was started to give a background to a roleplaying setting, and a couple of my gamemates have said they're impressed with the language, even if they didn't understand some of the linguistic nuances.
