Séillethear Chéighea is a [[fictional diachronic language and was created by Anselm Huppenbauer. It has been used for a translation of the Babel Text.

Language sources

Séillethear Chéighea is a daughter language of Arσeía (Arθa Σeía Ailavunya), and thus all the words underwent regular sound changes from [Archeía] .

Design principles

Séillethear Chéighea's main inspiration has been Irish, thus the most striking feature of the language is the opposition between 'broad' (normal) consonants and 'slender' consonants (palatals or consonant + /j/). Other features are the reduction of unstressed vowels to schwa.

Interest of others

Séillethear Chéighea has been presented at the ZBB, and has been complimented on her orthography.
