Uniqueness
A rather interesting case system and a rich verbal morphology, as well as having the rather uncommon OVS word order.
Language sources
The initial language was inspired in concept by Tolkien's languages, as well as structurally by a healthy dose of English and German. Vocabulary has been mostly made up but includes a few words from such languages as Japanese, Welsh, and Gaelic. The grammar has been reworked several times with inspiration from Japanese, Quenya, and several other languages. The current version of the language was inspired by previous versions.
Design principles
The personal enjoyment of the creator. Unfortunately, work is going rather slowly as I have lost the notebook I was recording it in and am having to reconstruct vocabulary based on previous versions in other notebooks. The grammar and protolang information, as well as a few words, are intact, though, as I had uploaded that to my site. But I have lost most of the vocabulary and a lot of information on dialects and related langs.
