Gnorbaran is a fictional diachronic language and was designed by Chris Johnston. It is written with a unique script (that has yet to be fully devised).

Language sources
None consciously. My knowledge of some of the grammatical cases of the Finno-Ugric language family undoubtedly influenced some of the construction.

Design principles
The purpose of creating this language was to write a language for a fictional race of gnomes. I wanted to make a mechanical yet naturalistic highly agglutinating language, that was aesthetically lilting and quick-paced, but somewhat of a mouthfull at the same time.

Interesting features
Gnorbaran morphology essentially consists of stems and affixes. There are no real distinct parts of speech. The language is largely based on bisyllable roots.
