Kēlen is the language of the Kēleni, the inhabitants of Tērjemar. It was designed by Sylvia Sotomayor. For an extended example, see the translation of the Kēlen Babel Text. It is written with a series of unique scripts, the Kēlen Scripts.
Kēlen is an attempt to create a language without verbs, thus violating one of the universals of language.
