Uniqueness
This is an unofficial language for the Cardassians, a race of aliens that are key to the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series. Little is known of the Cardassian language, but can be easily understood with the use of universal translators.

Design principles
Their written language consists of very angular, blocky letters, written in both horizontal and vertical lines. The characters can be separated by one or two dots (either word dividers, punctuation or vowel indication). Paragraph structure resembles a crossword puzzle, with text originating from a circle vertically and the further sentences radiating outward.
