Language sources
I am inspired by a lot of languages but I can't say that Laquish is based mainly on one foreign language. I am myself a native speaker of Norwegian, and I have tried making it sound and feel as foreign as possible from this language - belonging to the Germanic language family. So similarities to German, English and so forth in morphology and syntax are not common! When it comes to the script, I have personalized and modified the Korean alphabet, so it isn't unique in that sense, but still not like the way Koreans use it.
