Laval, a fictional language, was developed by M. Martin. It is written with a unique script.

No longer seems to be updated. See Lavalon article for a possible successor to this language that may be being developed.

It was written by the citizens of an online simulation of a country known as Lavalon. It seems to be no longer updated. Notable authors include Zachary Klaas, Matthew Vasroixe, Aryeztur Mejorkhor, and Ciaron Broeck.

Language sources

Greek, Spanish, Indonesian, English.

Design principles

This is the Middle Laval incarnation of the Laval language. Old Laval was a completely agglutinating with hardly a concept of word-order. After the agglutination eroded, prepositions soaked in, and word-order was standardized, the language was re-classified "Middle Laval". Middle Laval is much closer to one citizen's original idea of an Indonesion-inspired conlang.

Interest of others

Citizens (12 at most) of our micro-nation; others interested in conlangs.
