Romana is an international language and was created by Dan Tohatan. It has been used for a translation of the Babel Text.
[edit]
Language sources
It was inspired by Latin, Italian, French and Romanian.
[edit]
Design principles
The design is to make a language that's easy to pronounce and easy to write (using quasi-phonetic spelling that still preserves etymology) that can be understood by all speakers of Romance languages as well as Latin speakers.

Interest of others
So far, I am the only one involved in this project, because it has just come out.
