Silarg was written by JP Mallaroni as an IAL. The Silarg web page is in French|English. It is written using 3 different scripts:
- The Western alphabet adapted to its speech (with no diacritics).
- Argpal writing (invented by JP Mallaroni when he was a teen and before his artificial language).
- Argclaw writing (Also invented by JP Mallaroni but relatively more lately).
Language sources
Numerous, from all over the world. Example: Latin, Ancient Greek, French, English, etc., but also Quechua, Coptic, Mongolian, Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, Old Egyptian, African languages, Tahitian and invented words...
Design principles
To be equal for all the ones who would like to use it, because of its etymological languages. It also has its own writing. So a Chinese speaker or an Arabic speaker are not with Silarg to be obliged to use the Western alphabet but a new invented one that I call Argpal and that gathers the principles of all writings. Nevertheless it can be transcribed with our alphabet but with no diacritics (A to Z, plus "-" and " ' " only for the vocabulary).
Interest of others
I hope some of them will be... But if no one is, the main thing will have been for me to have made an attempt for my self-satisfaction.
