Waba is an experiment in constructing a language together. Everyone is invited to join as the project continues to develop.
Description
Currently it is a mainly isolating language, with a priori vocabulary and a sound reminiscent of Pacific island languages. But all this may change as the language develops.
Uniqueness
The idea is that we can work together by each one suggesting changes and improvements–one person suggests something, another changes it, another improves on it etc. until everyone is happy with the result. Thus the language would evolve to suit all of us.
Design principles
We are hoping that if we can successfully create this language then we will actually be able to speak it together–so we aim for the kind of language that we would like to speak. The main principle is personal aesthetics and preference.
