Language sources
Icelandic (style and sound), Old English, Modern English, Anaqaen (one of my other languages), Irish (very small), Spanish (very small).

Design principles
Wenðes is based on the idea that a language can exist almost completely using groups of smaller words to form larger concepts. The only non-analytic components are the verb inflections (for gerund and participle) and the plural ending.
