Language sources
English grammar found its way in, but I tried to model my language more on the snippets of Japanese grammar I knew. The result is a typologically irregular head-final language.

Design principles
No special design principles, besides making new roots sound pleasing to me.
[edit]
Interest of others
Ziotaki has been used for the 7th Conlang Relay. The Ziotaki-speaking land of Kiaretiniru has established relations with Tigerian-speaking Tegireserana.
