metrosexual (me-tro-sex-ual) n. metrosexuality [< metropolis, from Greek "mother city" + sexual. Coined by Mark Simpson.] 1. A dandyish narcissist in love with not only himself, but also his urban lifestyle. 2. An urban male with a strong aesthetic sense who spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. 3. A male who wants to be gay, but is not; a gay wannabe.
